Crooks and idiots exist in every professsion! But to put a label on all the
all-breed judges, which I'm guessing your were that day, is wrong. Had you
been the best in show judge, and put up the GSD, would that make it a
"non-worthy" win?

I judged an all-breed show. The night before I was to judge I was at a
dinner for all the judges. One of them told me that if I put up the same

shepherd that won that day, he would give him the group tomorrow. He then
turned to the Best in Show judge for the next day, and confirmed he would
put the shepherd up for BIS if we did that.
I then had breakfast the next day with another BIS judge. He asked me if
Leroy Brown was a good dog, because he had given him a BIS, but since I was
a
shepherd person, he wanted my opinion. He knew that Jimmy must have had a
good dog, so he gave him BIS.
Now, I know that is but one example, but it sure stuck with me.
