Clubs can hold the Amateur any time during the weekend. In the case of the
Mid-Pacific & Northwest last year, the Amateur judges either wanted to watch or
participate in the Regular so we had to have the Amateur first. Nancy did a
beautiful job judging the Mid-Pacific, gave all the entries plenty of ring time
&
gave them all a good look. I had start times for both the Amateur & the
Regular in
the judging program. She and the ring stewards kept everything moving & was
done in
the allotted time.

Why not put the Am fut the day before, after the specialty show?
