That is the only reason I could come up with too and I certainly understand
that one, getting stuck with a judge that may not be best for your dog.?
However, this is not a regular dog show for points, and if we are trying to
make our Futurities popular again, more user-friendly and "just a match" or
breeder's showcase, then we need to return to it's roots.?? Again, Futurities
are "Regional Breeder's Showcases".?? Don't you think there could be an
attraction by smaller local breeders and newbies to this if it were returned?to
this format?????

For me, I show 95% of the time in my area (California/Arizona) but, there have
been a few times I will go a great distance for the right judge based on what I
am showing at the time.??Certainly I have not always been right and might have
done as well had I stayed?in my own area.
