Kathy, the east is the not the one with the 7 dog futurities. In fact the whole
midwest and east coast always have the biggest futurities, so why would you
drop these. I have one futurity close to home this year, but the next closest
futurity is almost 11 hours away. I don't think any futurities should be
dropped. but if they are it should be putting the smallest entries together
into one region.

You are 100% correct. If we drop a region, esp in the western states, it
will only make a bad situation , worse.
If there is truly some move to drop a region, it needs to be in the east,
where one can easily cross three states in the time it takes to travel the
length of one in the West. (no hate mail from the East, please)
The simple fact is there are many more clubs withing reasonable distance in
the eastern regions, than out west.
