I still don't understand why people should be able to enter multiple
Futurities? In most breeds, we only have ONE Futurity and that's the one that
goes with our National. GSD people should be thankful they have however many to
pick from around the country.
I keep seeing excuse after excuse about "what if your dog isn't ready", and so
on... That's a chance we all take with a Futurity (or any show for that
matter). I don't understand why GSDs should be any different. Dals blow coats,
go through false pregnancies, go through the puppy uglies, etc..
I also find it interesting that it is definately a handlers game in
Futurities... Our Futurity is all about breeder and breeders would rather show
their own dogs or have an amateur do it then pro-handlers....
JMHO....From a person who has handled two DCA Futurity winners.
