On the other hand, we have had some TOP show dogs sold to supposedly
excellent show homes, only to have them sit after being shown a couple of
times, with Reserves.
One case in particular, the bitch was cearly a select quality animal, and
she sits, she is now a veteran, but the owners are too busy with dogs of
their own breeding. It is frustration beyond belief, and maddening. She
should have been an easy champion.
Makes me more than a little angry.
As far as selling good dog to a newbie...were'nt we once all new at some
point. Someone had to take that chance. In this day and age with our
ever-aging, ever-shrinking list of "serious" show homes....newbies are a
necessary and welcomed addition to the scene.
