There can be no question that John Beemont would be a great addition to our
board. He is bright, has run a large organization for years, and is dedicated
to the breed.
I have known John for years, and can find nothing that would not make him an
excellent president for the GSDCA. Now, I don't know yet who else might run,
so I am not saying there might not be another of value to our club. But, what I
do know is John would have been at the top of my list any time, and I have
heard he is going to run this year.

Now some of you responded. The next step is for each of you (there are over
2000 members here.. maybe 2500!), to go through this list and take a couple,
three of those that you think are most important and post them to the list.

<G>) We are going to submit 10 to them, so let’s get the best ones out there!
The first question I would ask any candidate is why would you want to run?
John has already told me he feels he owes an obligation to the club and the
membership. That is enough for me.
