Actually, I once did that routinely on the job in a department store portrait studio. Using a 5X7 view camera, 2 exposures were put on 5X7 film by means of a sliding back contraption. Eight hours a day, six days a week, that's how I photographed graduates, engaged couples, babies, families and people with coupons.
