The unit is 40 square inches.
A single sheet of 8x10 film will get you an enviable shot.
On an 8x10 contact proof sheet.
A roll of 12 or 36 exposure film will also get you an enviable shot.
On an 8x10 contact proof sheet.
40 square inches. Slice it up any way you want. We Brownie film shooters
know that. 12 6x6's. 8 6x9s, 16 645''s, 6 6x12's.

The sheet film shooter will be very carful of setting up the shot and if
they don't blink its going to be hard to beat. Cut and but in a magazine or
contact printed in a frame on the wall its going to jump right off the sheet
of paper.
Unless the roll film shooter got in there and worked it and got a magic
moment - an un obvious angle when unexpected things are happening.
Then the technical quality difference is minimized.
And they only way your going to do it is to make sure you're covered. And
your not skimping on film.

Another thing I'd always heard is have twice the film you think you need.
If it sounds like a 4 roll shoot bring 8.
That advice sure worked for me.
Though in the late 90's I'd almost always have a full brick in the
cellophane in the bag.
Give me cellophane any day. Very reassuring and enabling.
