Film is cheap was sort of the opposite of the philosophy Torkel Korling had. More than 20 years ago, he told me his approach back in the 1920s and 30s was to set up his shot, exactly the way he wanted it, and then he would take maybe one or two pictures. Once he felt he'd gotten what he wanted, he would stop. He had nothing but contempt for modern photographers who shot endless amounts of film, in the hopes of finding a good shot in there somewhere. --- Rollei List - Post to rollei_list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx - Subscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Unsubscribe at rollei_list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the subject field OR by logging into www.freelists.org - Online, searchable archives are available at //www.freelists.org/archives/rollei_list
