Clarence - and all, It appears that the MX-200 AND the upcoming MR-200 will effectively replace a PR-300 for those interested. There are limitations to using the PR-300 with the MX-200....not that they cannot be worked around, but they make it not as simple as working with the PR-300. The MX-200 contains voices and special programming that makes it possible to select voices and pipe sounds from it directly from the organ keyboard, as we can do with the PR-300. The MR-200 will then permit recording and playback of the organ and the MX-200. One very nice thing about havving separate units is that organists like Dan Miller will use both....Rodney Barbour may be more likely to use just the MX-200, since he loves to play MIDI live...and my wife would use only the MR-200, since she uses MIDI only as a practice and evaluation tool. The next logical question is...will the PR-300 still be made? I haven't a clue. noel jones, aago 423 887-7594 athens, tennessee frog music press, exec. dir. rodgers organ users group, moderator all at: www.frogmusic com ____________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe or set to vacation, go to www.frogmusic.com/rodgersmem.html If you have any difficulty with this or PayPal, please contact noeljones@xxxxxxxxxxxxx for help!
