Yes, I have an old Korona wood (I think mahogany) 5X7 field camera. It uses
wooden lens boards. I have had some boards made that are duplicates of the
two that were with the camera when I got it. I cut some metal plates
somewhat smaller than the lens boards. These mount on the front of the lens
boards and have holes cut in them to take the appropriate shutters. A hole
in the wooden lens board is somewhat larger than these holes, to allow
clearance of the rear lens element. And everything is painted black on the
inside! I made several of these. They all work great.

have overlooked one of your prerequisites. I have used a number of Linhof
Technikas and, while I absolutely love their engineering and appearance,
they are very heavy in comparison to a wood field camera! They are truly
great cameras but, if you want something light, a wooden field camera or a
lovely old Speed or Crown graphic are much lighter. I mounted 135 and 210
lenses on the Speed Graphic lens boards and carried them and the Graphic
all around Tuscany in the same back pack with my Blad, Blad lenses, and
light meters. To save weight I used those 8 sheet re-loadable Graphlex film
magazines. Quite manageable! Your choice...

Now I have an Ilex Acutar No 545 Its a 215mm lens with 8 1/2 coverage.
It's in a Copal 1 shutter. I have no way to know how old this old lens
might be, but the little use I have with it makes be believe it is a fairly
decent portrait lens. I am sure there are better now, but in its day it
looks to me like it would have been a pro grade level lens.
But it would need to be moved to a lens board that would fit the field
camera, and I see nothing and have found nothing that tells me how big of a
hole in the lens board is needed. I am taking a wild guess in the dark,
but I am guessing it might be 42mm, but I really don't know. If anyone
knows what I need to move the shutter and lens to use it on the linhof, its
appreciated. Never having seen how these come apart, I have learned to be
careful.
