I was wondering that if your negs are 4"x5" or thereabouts, maybe the Aristo VCL4500 might be made to fit the enlarger with a simple reducing sleeve. If you need 5"x7" coverage, of course you would need a bigger head.

According to Aristo, the 4x5 won't work for me (the Zone VI head is 5x7). Aristo also have a 5x7 head but they said that it didn't fit the Zone VI enlarger. :-( --- On Thu, 2/5/09, john stockdale <j.sto@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:From: john stockdale <j.sto@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [pure-silver] Re: ZONE VI VC HEAD, was No More Below the Lens Polymax Filter Kits? Perhaps it could be made to fit your enlarger, which I assume is bigger than 4"x5" John =================== Robert Krawiec wrote:I've been following this thread with interest...Ihave a Zone VI type I VC head, and unfortunately the soft light is so weak now that in order to get a grade 2 I have to turn the hard light right down to almost minimum, with ensuing very long exposure times.Calumet have basically ignored my requests for help. Aristo will build a new set of tubes into the head foraround $1,000. I'm in two minds whether to do this. I really like being able to print polaroid 55 negs uncropped and I haven't found an alternative enlarger that will do this and fit in my basement.Rob============================================================================================================= To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.=============================================================================================================To unsubscribe from this list, go to www.freelists.org and logon to your account (the same e-mail address and password you set-up when you subscribed,) and unsubscribe from there.
