For the moment, I'm pretty lucky. Keeble & Shuchat Photography in Palo Alto CA has a very large darkroom department. On the floor, 20+ enlargers, a couple of JOBO's, easels, trays for processing up to 20x24 prints, mounting supplies, portfolios, a ton of used stuff, and, perhaps 10-15 different developers, several fixs, several shelves of formulary chemistry, and color chemistry up the wazoo - they stock Cibachrome chemistry, and a half dozen other processes. And paper - an entire wall of B&W paper, and two fridges full of color paper. There's more darkroom stuff here than in all of the San Francisco stores combines (Calumet, Gasser, etc.)
As I said, I am really lucky! :-) Jim On Feb 25, 2008, at 9:41 PM, Bogdan Karasek wrote:
Have you checked the chemical supply in the tiny darkroom section in the back corner at your local photo store lately and the clerk doesn't know what Diafine is!!!!
