Perhaps this is the message in question.

Sorry, there was an error. That paper wasn't ICOM. It was
presented at
NKF Congress, Copenhagen, September 1994.

In another message of the same date in the same thread you
give several citations:

17:52:23 -0500 (EST)This topic is repeated several times in
old pure-silver, and I sent a
summary of problems reported with KRST to another
pure-silver, so I
won't repeat the details here. But those who are interested
are
referred to literature:

Drago and Lee. 1986. Review of the effects of processing on
the image
stability of black-and-white silver materials, J Imaging
Tech, 12,
57-65.

Lee, Wood, Drago. 1984. Toner treatments for photographic
images to
enhance image stability. J. Imaging Tech., 10, 119-126.

Reilly, Nishimura, Cupriks, Adelstein. 1991. Polysulfide
treatment for
microfilm. J. Imaging Tech. 17, 99-107.

Kopperl and Huttemann 1986. Effect of residual thiosulfate
ion on the
image stability of microfilms. J. Imaging Tech. 12, 173-180.

Johnsen and Pedersen. 1993. Comparison of selenium and
sulfur
treatment for protecting photographic silver images against
oxidation. Preprint, ICOM Committee for Conservation, Paris.

There is another paper by Drago and Lee on 1984 about the
stability of
duplicating film 4168, which is also very interesting. Also,
definitely try to get a hold of the real preprint of Johnsen
and
Pedersen, not the abstract. It's full of insightful data.
Also, get
Reilly et al even if you read the full report by IPI. It is
written
with a different angle and also written for different
audience.

There are several other messages in the
thread, which is titled Agfa Sistan, but there does not
appear to be much actual discussion of Sistan or
Ag-Guard.

Unfortunately, the archives are in HTML and the word wrap
in OE has screwed up the layout.
