Group: Book #5 is nearing publishing. It'll be a collection of photos made by the children of migrant farm workers who live in a rather remote farm village about an hour outside of Sacramento. (Knights Landing on HWY 113) We have named this series "The Positives". With the help of countless Internet friends we've given every kid gets a camera to keep, film, and access to a donated b/w darkroom. The kids learn how to take and develop b/w photos. Thus far, I know of 3 of the Wascals to go on to college. Considering that the kids are "sometimes" marginalized and ignored, this experience can be like watching a flower bloom. i.e. "Hey, I'm pretty smart after all". There are a lot of images on Picasa and also via "Migrant Workers" and "coming together in hard times". btw: This project has not used any public funds or school coins. It's entirely from bank of teacher, teachers pocket, donations, Printing has been done by MIDDLERIVERPRESS.COM As Bruce the publisher for a look-see of prior efforts. Now that I'm retired it should be safe enough for individuals to be seen with me in public. be well Oh I forgot: Individual copies are $10.00 each including on planet postage. Over payments cheerfully accepted. ____________________________________________________________ 60-Year-Old Mom Looks 27 Mom Reveals Free Wrinkle Trick That Has Angered Doctors! http://thirdpartyoffers.juno.com/TGL3131/4ec4f8a64e7b174fd5st05duc
