OK, I did some arduino programing and it is relatively easy, not
different to low C programing.
Arduino is a microprocessor board which you can robots build with.
Actually robotics programing is not so difficult for blind people; to
build the robot can be more challenging. I have not tried lego
mindstorm, but I would guess that it helps a lot to do the building task.
There is a project called BrickPi which is a piece of hardware to use a
raspberry pi as a lego brick. I mention that because some people migh
feel better writing code in a open platform as a Pi.

Also there is a language called quorum. It can be used to write code
for the original lego brick, and quorum is designed to be an accessible
tool.

Summarizing; the programing for robotics should not be a impossible task
for blind people, building the robot in its self can be another stuff,
however, to try building might be quite fun.
