Hi Greg,
I'm a veteran Notetab user, so I'm surprised when you say that it doesn't work
with JAWS. Are you referring to NoteTab 7? If so, which JAWS version?

It is a fairly expensive editor but from what I tested it looks to be
accessible with JAWS. I have also tried note tab but it does not work well
with JAWS at all now. Although it does work very well with NVDA.
There is also Akel pad from:
akelpad.sourceforge.net
and Notepad++ from:
http://notepad-plus-plus.org/
Those are all the ones I know that work with JAWS.
