Hi Greg, I wonder if you will get the problem if you wait until the 30 days run out and it reverts back to light. When using NoteTab Lite I get the weird issues with JAWS echoing everything when ever Itype a letter. I just installed the trial version of the Standard and Pro version and there is absolutely no problem at all. It works as expected. This is very strange. I am so far not experiencing any problems with the edit window of either program. I am going to do some minimal scripting for JAWS, though, to make the dialogs that have static text and buttons--not the multi page ones-- to speak the static text automatically. I'll also re-class some individual controls to make JAWS speak them properly. I'm using Windows 7, 64 bit. I'm unsure what the differences in our set-ups are. Thanks. The problem then was that it kept saying edit every time I typed in a character. It is very strange. I really wish I could get this program working because I like it's outline features. Everytime I type something everything I typed before that is spoken. For example, when typing a word, every time I type a letter each letter before that I typed is spoken along with the letter I typed. This happens in Note Tab versions 6.x and up, including the new version 7. Thanks, Greg W. If so, which JAWS version? Thanks. Undo It is a fairly expensive editor but from what I tested it looks to be accessible with JAWS. I have also tried note tab but it does not work well with JAWS at all now. Although it does work very well with NVDA. There is also Akel pad from: akelpad.sourceforge.net and Notepad++ from: http://notepad-plus-plus.org/ Those are all the ones I know that work with JAWS. Since UltraEdit won't work with JAWS as well as it should, and TextPad keeps crashing on me, I've been permitted to research to see what text editors I can use. Does anyone have any commercial programmer's editor recommendations to put forth? Thanks.
