This thread prompted me to try to download the site using the HTTrack website copier, <http://www.httrack.com/>. Downloaded about 7.45MB (over 1,000 files in more than 80 folders). The download log reported 573 errors, e.g. "Service Temporarily Unavailable" (503) at link www.geocities.com/buddychai/Religion/ChristianitysSin.html (from www.geocities.com/buddychai/Religion/TheHolocaust.html) Re FTP client, have found that FileZilla, <http://filezilla-project.org/>, works well on the websites I maintain or assist in the maintenance.
