Yeah that makes the best sense. In the meantime I would backup all of your pages and images because I wouldn't be one to fully trust GC and all they may do. I would also be looking for new hosts as was suggested in other replies, and move to them as soon as possible because you want your pages on the new hosts to be able to be found in search engines as they are now. You'll want to do a "301 redirect" from your old URL's to the new URL's so your new pages will show up for the old pages' results. (I can explain that when needed). -Clint God Bless, Clint Hamilton, Owner www.OrpheusComputing.com www.ComputersCustomBuilt.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vern" Harold, Perhaps waiting until summer would be best. I would expect them to open up the web sites for FTP access. I grabbed this from their help section. --------------------------------------------------------------------- We'll provide more details about closing GeoCities and how to save your site data this summer, and we will update the help center ------------------------ with more details at that time. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vern ----- Original Message ----- From: "Harold B." > So bottom line, where is it best to start (not that I'll ever > be able to > do > it)?
