I am sure you are correct! I think I am missing backgrounds on more web pages than I thought. When we first got this computer, I was missing a ton of graphics. I discovered then, that it was my anti-virus that had a ton of 'stopper's' with it! I turned most of them off, and I got the majority of the graphics back. I never did get them all back, but at the time, it didn't seem important. I then got a different anti-virus - and now have a different one again. But obviously, I am missing things on more than just these few pages that I am finding now! I was under the impression that with firefox, lots of parts of web pages didn't show up because if people used java, they wouldn't show up. thanks! cris ----- Original Message ----- From: knighthawk2 To: pctechtalk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, June 14, 2005 8:47 AM Subject: -=PCTechTalk=- Re: browser options please! Hi Cris When a browser has a problem in one area it often has problems in others that you are not aware of. For example I tried Opera for a while and it was displaying only partial pages on some websites. They looked fine to me until I went to one in mozilla and found a complete page. I tested other sites then and found the same thing happened in at least 30% of the sites. I would have never known if I had not tried a different browser. What I am saying is that you might want to rethink leaving a malfunctioning browser as your default. James ======= At 06:06 PM 6/13/2005, you wrote: >I still can't view that web page.
