RE: To autostart database or not?

I should add - on our Windows boxes, we _do_ set Oracle to autostart
because they are rebooted so often.  

Also, if a server has high uptime requirements, then it would probably
be a good idea to have it autostart just to minimize the downtime and
you can always look into the logs later to see what happened.  If there
is any major problem with the database, then of course the autostart
will just fail anyway and the failed startup attempt wouldn't do any
harm that I can think of.
