Hi,
this is an interesting question...what do you mean with 'monitoring' ? you
want to collect metrics, alerts based on thresolds, event collections? You
want agent based monitoring or agentless?
I've used in many years:
- OEM
- Cacti
- Nagios
- Adventnet products
- HP Openview/Tivoli
Monitoring your systems may not be a plus and may not be downsized to few
metrics....
