We use Nagios http://nagios.org/ with several Oracle plugins from http://exchange.nagios.org/ We've tried Zabbix and ZenOSS and decided that Nagios was more robust, scaled better, had better documentation and a bigger user community. Plus you can get commercial support should you require it. We also use it to monitor 10 different versions/flavors of UNIX/Linux, Windows machines, Cisco and APC gear.
