Hi Bert,
All I'm really saying is that I fully expected to be significantly impressed
with the dramatic improvement on a decent screen using HDMI compared to mine
and this has not been the case so far.
Secondly, I have been pleasantly surprised at the improvement even on my own
screen.This means that buying a new 1920 x 1080 native resolution screen is
not justified for me and I will happily use my existing screen until "burn
out" or "poof".
There must be an awful lot of non HDMI plasmas out there in the US that
people will be loath to get rid of before time just because of HDMI with
HDCP.
Do you get HD out of the component outputs of ATSC STBs?
