Same way they work for streaming from WiFi, Craig. How do you think that works? 
That includes a tuner, 802.11 stack, and IP stack. I've also used WiFi to USB 
sticks, extremely compact, and I use a Bluetooth to USB stick for remote mouse 
and keyboard. All of these incorporate tuners and antennas.

And they would also market boxes, for older TVs sans HDMI.
