[opendtv] Channel approval process

In the US, does a new TV "channel" have to go through any kind of approval
process prior to being carried on cable and/or satellite? For example, can I
just create "Junk TV" and cut a carriage deal with Dish (for example), or is
there a federal approval process?

You can UNSUBSCRIBE from the OpenDTV list in two ways:
