A pair of Townsend's Warblers has been regularly coming to our suet feeder
on Witham Hill in Corvallis for a few weeks now. The male (who has been
around longer) seems to be loosely associated with our mixed flock of
chickadees, nuthatches and kinglets and only comes around a couple of times
a day; the female, on the other hand, has pretty much been living at our
feeder for several days now (and she fights our resident Anna's Hummers for
an occasional nip from the hummingbird feeder, as well).
Fun to have this little bright flashes of color around during the winter!

I haven't had one at my suet feeders this fall/winter either. I thought
that they just decided to snub me this year, but their numbers may be down
overall in this region. It'd be interesting to hear from others.

My husband and I were just discussing the fact that we have not had a single
Townsend Warbler this winter.
We live in Milwaukie, Jennings Lodge area.
