My husband and I were just discussing the fact that we have not had a single
Townsend Warbler this winter.
We live in Milwaukie, Jennings Lodge area.

the head (crown), but not the yellow I would expect to see elsewhere, on it's
breast or flanks. It also had bold black and white steaks on the wings. I
don't recall seeing streaking on the flanks.
I will keep an eye out for it, to look for
peticular markings. It didn't look like other Townsends I've seen, but I
don't know how much variation there may be.
