I have been birding in SE Arizona, coastal southern California and Curry
County, Oregon over the past two months. I can't write regarding the numbers
this year in northern Oregon, but they were very evident where I have been
birding. A nearby neighbor here in Portland told me that he has one coming
to his suet feeder.
