Chuck and all,
Remember that snow geese actually have pink legs rather than orange ones. Based
on the heavy orange legs as well as the location where it was found (city park
pond) I would attribute it to a Canada Goose x Domestic goose sp. hybrid.

I found a weird goose on Fireman's Pond in Redmond today. At first, I
thought I had another leucistic Canada Goose. Closer inspection revealed
heavy orange legs. This may be a cross between Canada and Snow Goose. The
bill looks a little Snow Goosey when you see it close up. Or it may be a
cross with local domestic geese which might account for the heavy legs. Or I
might be altogether wrong. I have some photos at
