I found a weird goose on Fireman's Pond in Redmond today. At first, I
thought I had another leucistic Canada Goose. Closer inspection
revealed heavy orange legs. This may be a cross between Canada and Snow
Goose. The bill looks a little Snow Goosey when you see it close up.
Or it may be a cross with local domestic geese which might account for
the heavy legs. Or I might be altogether wrong. I have some photos at
