I don't expect that it's a burner/media issue. Instead, it may be a 
limitation in OS X. Normally people don't burn that many different sessions 
to one CD and it could be that the formats officially don't support that 
many sessions. You'll find that Windoze has problems displaying more than 
one or two at  the best of times. (never managed to get it (Windows) to do 
much worth noting with CDs... also somethinga 'bout the limitations of 26 
letters in the English alphabet with a: and b: reserved for floppys ;)

Are you using re-writables or CD-Rs? Also, why so many sessions? Do you do 
incremental back-ups whilst keeping old versions of the documents? 
Otherwise, use ISO9660 and do an incremental back-up which adds to one 
particular volume each time a new session is added (plus, this way you can 
use your CD on Windoze).
