Any advice from anybody? I have lots of memory (512 MB of RAM) > and a 10 gig hard drive (which seems puny compared to the 80 gigs that come > with the new G4s). > I hope he's not an Apple dealer!! If he is is he certainly knows nothing about Apples. You can run Jaguar (including OS 9.2.2) on a G3 233 if you want (although you may not enjoy the experience!). A G4 should be able to handle it relatively easily however graphics will be a week area. You have enough memory and Jaguar takes advantage of the G4 processor. Go ahead and try it. You can always revert to 9.x if you don't like it.
