Are you using Norton antivirus?

That happened to me awhile ago and made me nuts cos't I couldn't fix it
without the computer crashing each time I attempted to fix it. I even
tried to access it via my other computer over the network. No go.

Then I found an article on the issue, turned of the antivirus and was
able to get it rolling again. Then turned on the antivirus.

Not sure what caused it, but it was Norton that was keeping it
locked/trashed. Apparently it didn't like something and set off a chain
of locks.

Just thought I'd toss that out if you're also using Norton.

Hi

I am not sure whether this is an "office" ? or windows ?

The other day while I was working in Outlook 2000 it faulted, I closed
the program and tried to reopen and faulted again. I did a scan disk etc
and rebooted to no avail still faults when trying to open. Faults in
Module MSO9.dll. I tried repair, nothing, uninstall outlook and
reinstall nothing , uninstall office 2000 in total and reinstall
nothing. The file on my hard drive is of a different date than the one on
the Office CD, as I had done a SR-1 update, so when I tried to copy that
to hard drive and use it got another error message not valid file.
Outlook will not open.

Any Ideas on what I can try next???
