Interesting, I never noticed that. But realize that the Draft folder is not
supposed to be used like a normal folder, so I assume they didn't assume
anyone would WANT to read with the reading pane...which is probably why I
never notice this problem, since I never leave items in there long enough to
read them in that folder. (And do you THINK I could write a longer
sentence!<g>)

The draft folder is only mean to hold emails that you haven't finished...as
a temp folder for save/unsent messages. I have a few in there and then go
in, open them completely to finish writing them and send them...or delete
them, if that need be the case.

How are you using that folder???

Yeah, but it's just not the same - I have to strain to read it.

My Outlook 2003 does the same thing. I suspect it is another one of
Outlook's quirks.

Great - I have Outlook, not Express. =20 I do have a question:
I'm in Outlook 2003 and am using the DRAFTS folder for the first time.
But when I go in, I would like to see the short description at the top and
the full email below (as I have in my other folders) It's called a Reading
Pane.
For some reason, that option under VIEW/READING PANE is grayed out for these
messages in this folder: DRAFTS - what am I doing wrong?
Thanks
Gaynel

LOL ... Didn't mean to scare you.

Yes, Outlook questions are allowed here. Outlook is part of Microsoft
Office. However, Outlook Express is NOT part of Office, so those questions
are not allowed here.=20

If you go to the homepage for this group (see the footer of every email for
the link)...it tells you there which programs this group supports.
