This one keeps cropping up on here... Usually it's a simple case of network problems - for example, I get it at the office here when our VPN to the exchange server is heavily loaded (or just down). The message will pop up, and when the VPN usage subsides then the message goes away and all is OK. You can test this by testing the ping time from the affected computer to the exchange server - any response time greater than 300ms may be causing problems. However it MAY be more complex - have a look at: http://snurl.com/mw5 For your sake I hope it's just the first ;) HTH, Dave. -----Original Message----- From: Touchstar [mailto:touchstar100@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 12 February 2003 11:41 To: mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [mso] Outlook Hi all Just wondering if anyone had come up against the problem of Outlook saying "Outlook is requesting data from exchange server" Thanks Martin ************************************************************* You are receiving this mail because you subscribed to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or MicrosoftOffice@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To send mail to the group, simply address it to mso@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To Unsubscribe from this group, send an email to mso-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word "unsubscribe" (without the quotes) in the subject line.
