Donna, once I learned about the item chooser, a whole lot of web tasks became profoundly easier. You can type most anything and, even if the item doesn't start with the text you typed but contains it somewhere, the list of items found will have it. You can type "head" and get a list of the headers (maybe a paragraph containing the word head may slip in but it's easy to parse).

The Item Chooser is good in other complicated programs in helping you find your way around at first and I find it useful elsewhere as well.

Thanks, marie, I'll play around with that. It was a large page with a lot of stuff on it, so I figured that a find would be the quickest way to get to what I needed. I haven't played around too much with the item chooser though, so I will explore that and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip.

Donna, maybe the item chooser would be a better approach. vo--I. I find it much more useful than the find command on web pages.

Brandon,

I'm so sorry you find my posts so annoying. I thought this list was here to help users, clearly I was mistaken.

Just FYI, Command-F brings up a find window ON THE MAC. There's nothing windows about that.

Please stop asking questions that relate to windows on the mac.

Hi all,

Recently, when searching for text on a webpage using command-F, I saw a button that said 2 results found, but I seemed to have no way to actually see the results. How do you view results when searching on a webpage?
Thanks,
Donna
