Ok, when in the text to speech tab on the default voice pop up button do control option space to actavate the button go to the bottom of this list where it says to customize the voice and do control option space.
Now vo right arrow over to the table interact with this table and If memory serves me right right below agness you will find update to the alex enhanced voice to hear a sample uninteract and then either vo right arrow or tab once and you will find a play button do control option space and you can hear a sample the voice is i believe about 900 mb or so.

I would love to say I learned something as well, but somehow I am still unable
to find enhanced Alex! Now I feel like I want to meet him too! I went into
System Preferences, then Dictation and Speech, then I go to the Text to Speech
tab, but still can’t find enhanced Alex! Any tips?

Yes, this is new to me, too. Alex is so good now, I wonder whether he will
sound enhanced.
