I'm most annoyed by people who chat on their mobiles (cell 'phones) in queues in shops *and carry on chatting while they're being served*; but they probably aren't particularly "alienated", just, slobs. As to "being outside" when you're listening to an iPod, well, I don't do it -- and I have a mobile that only does voice calls and texts -- but I'm not all that concerned by the people you talk about. -- Judy Evans, Cardiff, UK mailto:judithevans1@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ------------------------------------------------------------------ To change your Lit-Ideas settings (subscribe/unsub, vacation on/off, digest on/off), visit www.andreas.com/faq-lit-ideas.html
