Unless that's the point, to have people belittle him to the point where the belittling becomes meaningless. Or he might be self destructive. Maybe he likes pain. ___ It's a hate thing. The majority of voters hate people who use big words, display metacognitive process, cite literature and science, or dress in tuxedos. Bush wants the NASCAR crowd to like him and the NASCAR crowd hates the grad school crowd. Why do you think Gore is screaming lately? To serve as an iconic reference for the left wing hate, and to distance himself from the robotic professorial image he created during the debates. A.A. Isn't this a contradiction though? Shouldn't we all be liking his boy next door simplicity? Even if the NASCAR vote is so important, can't he find a common ground to appeal to everyone? I wouldn't think it would be that hard. Regarding Gore, I thought he was coached out of his Wooden Indian posture and he kind of went in the other extreme. Remember the Macarena joke Gore told at the convention? Gore: Want to see me do the Macarena? (Audience waits) Gore: Want to see it again? Besides, big words are a thing of the past. See u later.
