I am suddenly reminded of the short story "Snow" by a sci-fi author whom I should recall but can't. Does anyone recall? It was in one of my sci-fi collections but those on my current shelf don't seem to contain it. And googling for "Snow sci fi" isn't going to cut it. The protagonist is perusing his memory of his life (he wishes particularly to re-experience moments with his deceased wife) -- saved for him by a technology which records every feeling, thought, sense, experience, and can feed it back to him at command. I refuse to answer the rest of your questions until you can give me one good reason why you took 550 photographs -- that's equivalent to 30 rolls of film for Christ's sake. Have you branched out into pornography by any chance? I can see no other justification for taking 550 photographs. Ever. And don't tell me you're not aware of the obscenity of taking 550 photos of anything -- that's equivalent to 550,000 words -- when you yourself wrote: > Digital cameras create a new problem: too many photos. This is a God send. Pictures are taken of everything within our POV from birth until age 35. At age 35 we get to sit back for the next 35 years and watch everything we had witnessed over the previous 35 years. At age 70, we die (ususally from boredom). It's just a natural extention of reality TV. Please don't stand in the way of progress.
