Many thanks for the words of welcome.

Definitely seems like a place I will feel at home in. Look forward to getting
started and clocking up a few hours and of course contributing to the
stimulating conversations. Drinks are on me. Just say John Hill is paying J

Welcome to the mad house, John.

I too fly the iFly 737 (FSX mainly), and I am at present working through the
IFR 'A' tour.

I live just up the road from you (I expect), in the South Side of Glasgow.

Always remember the golden rule "If you can't beat them, you may as well join
them"

Cheers

Gentlemen,

May I have your attention please.

Hmmm.

Can someone wake Mike up?

Ah, good.

Gentlemen, may I introduce a new pilot to JHB to you all. I scoured the
countryside for a first rate chap and at great cost managed to secure the
services of John Hill to the airline.

Yes, not that John Hill, a new John Hill.

Yes, that means we will have two John Hills flying with us.

No, don’t worry about the name tags – I’ll sort it out..

John lives in a decent country, quite near Prestwick. He isn’t new to FS but is
new to IVAO so can you all behave and not tease him to much with answers to any
questions he may have. John flies the IFly 737NG which I believe is a familiar
machine to some here.

I hope you can show John the ropes and where to hang the hat I gave him. I know
the badge is green right now but a bit of polish should reveal some semblance
of copper, sorry, gold underneath.

John, welcome on board. Normal rules apply. First to a seat gets it, the dog
that lies in the corner and stinks is NOT dead. If a pilot doesn’t move in his
chair for two days kick him to check for signs of life. Don’t lend anyone money
excepting me of course.

I’m sure you’ll fit in just fine..
