Thanks Paul

The motivating factor is that I have begun to get display grief since installing the latest drivers. This only seems to affect FS, and its a big job to plumb in the machines, so it may be sensible.
I just wanted to be sure before I start.

I do have a gateway between these machines in the shape of a shared folder, so I've been thinking that it may be easier to transfer the personal things across (at leisure) prior to putting the new machine in, and then install FS on the incoming W7. The only thing that worries me is that it is 2nd hand, my name will not be on it, will I be able to register everything on it : PMDG etc

Food for thought

best wishes

Kev
