Hello,

A couple of things about ILM. First of all, if you authorize a computer
with it and then have to reformat the disk drive, reinstall windows or
whatever you can reauthorize the same computer without loosing a key. The
only way you will loose a key on the same machine is if you make some
hardware changes which changes the locking code of the machine. This is
much the same as what happens with Windows XP.

If you have two computers, desktop and laptop, you can authorize both using
one key for each. If you get a new computer or do something to change the
locking code on either you can use up your last key to re-authorize it.

If you use up all your keys you can contact Freedom Scientific to have them
reset without charge. To my knowledge there are no plans to charge for
this. The only reason FS is limiting your number of keys is to keep track
of how many times your key is used. If you are the actual end user and
have a legitimate reason for increasing your key count they will do it. HTH.
