Hi Heidi, Yes your question is broad, so I can only speak from my own experience. As of this January I have combined a new Dell dimension 3000 PC with Windows XP home and am now using Jaws 6.2 . I can't say mush about Dell support due to the fact I have had no problems with the computer. One thing for certain XP is a mush more stable system than Win 98. Hope this is some help for you. Subject: Buying a New System--Any Suggestions?

Hello,

I recently subscribed to the list and hope I'm not asking something that has
been asked a million times before, is too off topic, broad or inflamatory.
I currently have a Windows '98 system running JAWS 3.5. I know its old but
it has been a loyal and reliable friend. Anyways, its time for me to buy
new. I plan to buy the latest version of JAWS. What I am interested in
knowing is what make and model of computer are people using, what operating
systtem is being run, how easy or difficult it was to set up, whether the
company gives good support. Feel free to brag or complain.

Best Regards--
Heidi
