Yes, this is what I downloaded. This update makes jaws vista compatable, but
also brings some fixes for XP, so if people have vista computers they download
the new version as we who have XP can download the update through automatic
updates, which is what I did. As I said in the other message even totally
uninstalling then reinstalling the latest version of jaws doesn't get rid of
this weird and slightly annoying problem.

Tristram put an item on the list this morning about an update for Jaws Vista
which was now available. Is this what you downloaded?
I've looked at the update link in Jaws Help but I don't think it mentioned
Vista. I find it a bit confusing.

Hi. I just installed new jaws update and am experiencing following problem:
every time I open a webpage or an email message in Outlook Express, jaws says:
"unknown script called to is magic running" and if in "say all" mode it also
spells it. This is rather annoying and time consuming. Also as soon as say all
is pressed it does it every time. Has anyone else experienced this problem and
of course if there is any solution it would be very much appreciated.
