new versions generally appear about November so if you were to upgrade now,
you would upgrade to 12. I would go for the upgrade as it will mean you are
not relying on retaining older versions of programs such as Internet
Explorer or Live Messenger.

I thought 12 as well, but the RNIB ATW assessor told me it's now 13. I know
nothing, as ever, of course lol.
So is there anything that's actually better about 12, or is it just an
upgrade for the sake of it, would you say?

The current version is in fact 12. I think you should go for it. The main
functionality is the same.

I've just had an Access To Work assessment in which it was suggested that I
should upgrade to the current version, now being 13, I gather. I still feel
like i haven't had 10 for 5 minutes. Don't want to be a stick in the mud,
but am slightly nervous of yet more changes.
Wonder, what do you all make of 13? How is it working? What's it like?
