Most vendors that used to bundle pc-dos with their
cheaper boxes now
bundle linux .. and the dealers typically offer a
pirated win xp cd
along with it for a few Rs. extra, saying "not even
mp3s work on linux"
Looks like things are changing just that bit, most
PCs could come atleast with Linux preinstalled.
Even the airtel personnel who came to install the
modem knew about the various flavours of Linux.
Most big things happen only with a huge thrust from
the government, so Kerala could see lot of FLOSS work happening.
